QR Scanner & Maker ("we", "our", or "the app") is built privacy-first.

This policy explains what information the app handles and how. By using

QR Scanner & Maker you agree to the practices described below.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not collect personal data on our servers. QR Scanner & Maker has no

account system and does not transmit your content to us. The following is

stored locally on your device only:

  - Your scan and generation history (the codes you scan or create).

  - Your display name and in-app preferences (theme, scanner and privacy

    settings).

CAMERA AND PHOTOS

The camera is used solely to detect QR codes and barcodes in real time.

Camera frames are processed on-device and are never recorded, stored, or

transmitted. If you choose to scan from your gallery, the selected image is

analysed on-device and not uploaded anywhere.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED

Locally stored history and preferences exist only to power features such as

your History tab and personalised settings. This data never leaves your device

unless you explicitly share a specific item using your device's native share

sheet.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

QR Scanner & Maker does not include third-party advertising or analytics

SDKs that track you. When you open a scanned link or share content, your

device's operating system and the destination app/website handle that action

under their own policies.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

You are in full control. Clear individual entries from the History tab, or

remove everything at once via Settings -> Privacy & data -> Clear all history.

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

QR Scanner & Maker is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly

collect personal information from children.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected

here with an updated "Last updated" date.
